Andijan State Medical Institute was founded in 1955 in one of the ancient cities of Fergana valley. At present, the Institute is one of the leading institutes in the Republic of Uzbekistan. This university is a higher Public medical institution in Andijan, city of Uzbekistan. The facility is best known for its modern infrastructure & hospitals. Over the years of independence, the institute has trained more than 13000 physicians (including 800 clinical interns, 1116 masters, 200 postgraduates and 20 doctoral students) in various directions.

The institute has been training medical staff on the following faculties and directions: Therapeutic, Paediatric, Dentistry, Professional Education, Preventive Medicine, Pharmacy, High Nursing Affair and Physicians’ Advanced Training. 

Today graduates of the institute are trained in the following directions of master's degree: obstetrics and gynaecology, therapy (with its directions), otorhinolaryngology, cardiology, ophthalmology, infectious diseases (with its directions), Dermatology , neurology, general oncology, morphology, surgery (with its directions), instrumental and functional diagnostic methods (with its directions), neurosurgery, public health and public health services (with its directions), urology, narcology, traumatology and orthopaedics, forensic medical examination, paediatrics (with its directions), paediatric surgery, paediatric anaesthesiology and intensive care, children's cardiology and rheumatology, paediatric neurology, neonatology, sports medicine.

Admission requirement for Indian & overseas students

Getting admission to the medical university in Uzbekistan for Indian & overseas students through    Sunrise Star Overseas Education Consultancy is quite easy & a systematic process. Following documents are required:

  1. Educational qualification- Aspirants must have scored 60% and above marks in their higher secondary exam from a recognized board.
  2. HSC pass percentage - Required 60% in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry & Biology and English as a compulsory subject.
  3. Having good command over the English language.
  4. Candidates should be above 17 years of age on, or before 31st December during the year of their admission process.
  5. Birth certificate.
  6. Migration certificate from school.
  7. NEET qualification- Students must have cleared the NEET exam with an eligible score of fifty percentile. The medical aspirants of the other countries have to check the examination norms and rules of their respective countries.
  8. Having a valid passport.
  9. Ten identical white background passport size photos (50 mm x 50 mm).
  10. Download the admission form from the website.
  11. Forward duly filled & signed admission form to the consultancy. 

Documents required for student visa to study in Uzbekistan

      Following set of original documents are required to apply for student visa:

  1. Valid travel passport with minimum validity of one year.
  2. Admission & invitation letter from the university.
  3. Birth certificate.
  4. School certificates. 
  5. All school certificates, birth certificate & 4 set of passports copy to be duly apostle/notary attested. 
  6. Medical insurance.
  7. Medical fitness certificate by the doctor.
  8. Medical report- Required medical test report of HIV & tuberculosis.
  9. Bank statement with minimum balance of USD 4000 or Rupees 3 lakhs.
  10. Ten identical white background passport size photos (50 mm x 50 mm).
  11. After completing the admission process, our consultancy will guide the students in obtaining a temporary residence permit. This permit is valid for six years and to be renewed on yearly basis. 
  12. An HIV / AIDS and some infectious disease test will be done in Uzbek clinic, which is required for the residence permit. 

Visa processing time

  1. The processing time of student visa of Georgia takes 25-30 working days after submitting the visa application file to the embassy. 

Admission Process

          Following are the steps of admission process:

  1. For the admission & invitation letter from the university, student must send all the scanned documents as required for admission, via email to Sunrise Star Overseas Education Consultancy (info@sunrisestaroec.com)
  2. Once we will receive the documents, our consultant will review all the documents. 
  3. After review, the consultancy will forward all the documents to the university.
  4. University will review all the education credentials and other documents. Once student will be shortlisted by the university and sometime university conduct either online entrance test or some time test will be conducted in the university.
  5. Once student shortlisted or qualify the entrance test, then they are eligible for direct admission to MBBS/MD program.
  6. Students will receive an admission confirmation letter within 30 working days.
  7. After the confirmation of admission, university will courier original admission & invitation letter along with visa support letter to Sunrise Star Overseas Education Consultancy
  8. With the set of documents, our consultant will assist student for visa application to the respective embassy of the country.
  9. The nationals of the foreign countries where there is no Uzbek embassy, are issued a visa on arrival at the National airport. For visa on arrival, the medical applicant must show all the above-mentioned original set of documents to the airport immigration authority.
  10. After visa approval, Sunrise Star Overseas Education Consultancy will inform to the parents and student about the complete travel plan.
  11. All students must follow the international travel protocol.
  12. Finally, the admission process will start, once the student reaches the university.
